Mākeke Kapolei (a farmers' and green market at Kapolei) is an expansion of the Waianae Farmers' Market (WFM) into the neighboring city of Kapolei.

The primary goal of the expansion of the EBT-capable WFM is to include an additional site on a different day of the week – significantly improving access to affordable, healthy, and locally grown farmed products.

In partnership with the Malama Learning Center and Kapolei High School, the market aims to recruit local vendors, provide culturally-tailored nutrition education and demonstrations and promote healthy and sustainable environments through “green” products and educational activities.

Mākeke Kapolei is made possible in part by grants from HECO and the USDA.
